For those relishing seafood, the Zuppa di Pesce served over noodles dazzles with its fresh ingredients and robust flavors, as noted by Christine R.. With generous portions and reasonable prices, Aniello's ensures you leave satisfied but not overstuffed.

5/5 stars for service and food. We got in and were immediately sat. The place is clean and staff friendly. My table ordered a seafood combo appetizer, chicken parmigiana, caprice salad and kids chicken tender w fries. Everything was fresh, hot and flavorful. We will be back and I highly recommend this place.

Have been coming here for years and time for an update. A homey style restaurant you'd expect on a street in an Italian neighborhood but there it is in a strip mall. Inside is warm and inviting. Service could not be better. Had a glass of house Cabernet and it was a good pull and very good. We both had the gnocchi dinner and added meatballs. Soup comes with the meal an we had the pasta fagioli. The soup was delicious. Our gnocchi meal was ample and superb. The sauce here is fresh and delicious. 2 Meatballs were big and very good. Not exactly on a par with my wife's and grandmothers but pretty close. A great experience as always with very reasonable pricing

Amazing customer service, awesome delicious food. Highly recommend the calamari Aniellos.

Aniello's has the best stuffed breads. Their breads have the perfect ratio of bread/cheese/filling. They also have great customer service!

I kind of stumbled over this restaurant and I'm so glad I did !!! I have been here approx 4 times and every time the meal has been delicious, from the very friendly waitstaff. Every time I have been here we have ordered the hot antipasto which included two baked stuffed shrimp, two stuffed mushrooms, and two clams casino, along with the appetizer came a warm basket of homemade bread with butter. We had the New England Clam chowder and it was perfect I had a veal dish with mushrooms and prosciutto over noodles. Perfect did I say fresh mushrooms my brother had the zuppe di pesce, which he totally enjoyed. He got it without the calamari and another basket of warm bread. If you're looking for delicious Italian food with a very friendly waitstaff this is the place to go. I almost didn't write this review as I don't want to see the place over crowded lol but it's well deserved. We were there last night and will be back again. Very cute place inside

Aniello's is like the Cheers of pizza in East Haven: where everyone knows your name and is glad you came. For take out specifically, you are always greeted warmly by name. After 2-3 visits they definitely make an effort to remember their customers! There's always at least 3-4 people (if not more), getting take out on any given night, we try to avoid going on weekends for that reason. We have tried stuffed breads, grinders and pizzas. All have been very good. Pizza is more NY style than New Haven style (totally fine by us) and they are one of few places who also do a sicilian style thick square pizza, will try it soon but pictures look promising. Since moving to East Shore, Aniello's has become our go to place in the area.

My family and I love Aniello's. The majority of the time we do take out and haven't had a bad meal yet. The staff at the take out window are so friendly and have even helped bring out our food to the car for us. I personally love their chicken francaise and antipasto salad. However, we have tried several other meals such as their gnocchi, chicken parmigiana, salmon and stuffed breads. Everything is always delicious and the portions are generous. We have only dined in a couple of times but the servers were friendly and attentive. A must try if you are in the area!

Excellent food and service! My husband and I get pizza from here every week, it's our favorite local spot! Highly recommended!

Got takeout from here with some coworkers today. At the advice of a co-worker who had suggested the spot, I got a meatball grinder. The bread was fresh, the meatballs were tasty and it was super cheesy but I found the sauce a little chunky for a sub. It was falling out of the sandwich in chunks making it messy to eat. The sauce was super flavorful though, which makes me want to go back for dinner to try some of the other tasty looking items on their menu!
